Horoscope for Cancer

June is always a month of two halves for you, for this is the month when one solar year comes to an end and another begins. The closer you get to the Sun's return to Cancer on 22nd June, the more likely you are to find that the lines between the past, present and future become blurred. For while the Sun returns to Cancer at the same time each year Mercury and Venus, who travel with the Sun can arrive earlier. This creates a situation where you have planets in Cancer, opening new doors while your old solar year is still playing out. Yet while Mercury will return to Cancer on 5th June, it will be to find that Mars is already here. Mars has already spent nearly seven weeks in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, so a lot of the navel gazing and the recharging of batteries that takes place at this time of year, has already been done. Mars returned to Cancer five days before the month long wind down of this old solar year began, so the lines between the past, present and future have been blurred from the get go. What you will find, is that while there is still a need for time to hear yourself think, you won't be as exhausted as you often are at this time of year. A big feature this month is a need for balance and due to the fact that until 22nd June this is still your old solar year, one of the main areas is knowing when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off. Yet another important area where balance is a priority is on the personal and relationship fronts. Mars has returned to Cancer to find a lot of planetary activity on the relationship front and he will confront those planets midmonth. As your personal and relationship needs clash there could be some tension. Yet at the same time that it is all about balance, it is also all about having the communication lines open. Fortunately, you have Mercury, the planet of communication in Cancer from 5th June to 27th June.
